Wayyyy back in November 2020, Isaac, my sister's then-boyfriend texted me to ask me to capture his proposal to my sister in January! My sister was getting ENGAGED!! I could not have been more thrilled! A month or so passed, and one day, I got a FaceTime call from my sister. When I answered, she was glowing and showing me her engagement ring. Isaac had received the ring in the mail, and JUST. COULDN'T. WAIT. to propose to her. While I wasn't able to capture the actual proposal, this gave us the opportunity to plan an epic engagement session. Not only did we have one of the prettiest mountain backdrops I've ever photographed, but also had snow for the shoot! It was a winter wonderland mountaintop dream come true! They even re-enacted the proposal for me, and you'd never know it wasn't staged if I didn't tell you. Their love and emotions surrounding their engagement were still just as evident.

Katie & Isaac, thank you for letting me photograph your engagement session - you guys were champs in the cold, and troopers in trying out all the new poses I had come up with for your session! I am so so excited for you guys, and can't see what the future holds for you two together. Can't wait 'til the wedding!!
