When Megan & Aaron arrived at Raven's Roost for their engagement session, Megan jumped out of the car, and immediately asked if she could hug me - this is just one example how SWEET she and Aaron are! They also drove all the way from Yorktown (three hours!) for the mountain views offered by the Blue Ridge Parkway - but they almost didn't get them. The winter weather had closed down the Blue Ridge Parkway for the two weeks before their session, and things weren't looking great, so we made a backup plan, with two locations, one of which was Three Ridges Hike, which crosses the Blue Ridge Parkway. The day of their shoot it was about 50 degrees, and I arrived a bit early to Three Ridges Hike, only to discover that the Blue Ridge Parkway barriers had been removed! I quickly turned onto the Parkway and found Raven's Roost open! I excitedly called Megan who was ecstatic we would be able to do the session at her first choice location! Throughout the whole session, she and Aaron were so upbeat and their love was tangible! And Aaron, Megan, and I just got along so well - after just an hour session, it seemed like we had known each other for such a long time.

Megan & Aaron, thank you so much for trusting me to take your engagement photos, and for having so much fun with it! I'm so glad you came all the way to Charlottesville for the mountains, I definitely think it paid off! I can't wait to work with you guys again soon!!
