When I arrived with Ian, my second shooter, at Rosy & Andrew's apartment, we were greeted by their adorable cats, Ford & Lisa, in their WEDDING OUTFITS - Ford in a tux, and Lisa in the cutest tutu dress (scroll down for some photos)! Could the day get any better??? Heck yes it could - and it did!

Once we gathered the whole gang - Rosy, Andrew, their neighbors, and the best man - we headed to the ceremony site. As we walked, we chatted and got to know each other. Andrew and I discovered that we both spoke Spanish, so we spent some time conversing in Spanish. We also talked about how he and Rosy met, how they got their cats, and their post-COVID plans. After a short walk, we reached Alexandria's Waterfront Park. The ceremony was short (and a little chilly), but so sweet.

Once the ceremony ended, we made a quick stop in the local Starbucks to warm up before heading out for the portrait session. We came across the cutest little garden, where we spent most of our time. After finishing portraits, we planned to leave, but Rosy & Andrew generously invited us to their post-wedding dinner with them - of course we were so thrilled to get to spend more time with this sweet couple over dinner!

Rosy & Andrew, thank you so much for allowing us to capture this exciting day for you, and for extending such generosity to us, by inviting us into your whole wedding day!

I was kindly assisted on this shoot by my talented friend and second shooter, Ian McClelland, so a number of the photos below were taken by him.
